Under This various types of FSSAI Licenses are prescribed for different class of business areas under:
Basic Licence: The basic registration is for the food business operators which have their annual turnover up to Rs.12 lakh, this has basically designed for small-sized business or start-ups;
State Licence: The basic registration is for the food business operators which have their annual turnover more than Rs. 12 Lakh or up to Rs.20 crores, this has designed for mid-sized business;
Central Licence: The basic registration is for those large food business operators which have their annual turnover more than Rs. 20 crores or foods need to supply at the government offices or import / export of the food products.
